A Traffic Police

A traffic Police is a very important and familiar person in towns, cities and big crossing of the roads. Generally he stands on island at the crossing of roads and crowdy places. He performs his duty to control the in-coming and out-going flows of all kind of vehicles. He maintains the discipline of the road. If he fails to control the discipline of the road, it causes traffic jam. He puts on khaki mixed with white uniform. He also uses a while umbrella to protect himself from rain and sun. He uses a whistle to draw the attention of the drivers and passers-by. He can take necessary steps if any one violet the rules of traffic. Vehicles and passers-by are bound to follow his directions. So he is an important person to maintain the law and discipline on the roads and highways, though his service is very important he is an ill-paid servant. Sometimes he has to face risk of life.

a. A traffic police is a person who maintains the vehicle in the road. A traffic police is a very familiar figure to all in

                any town or city.

b. What are his responsibilities?

His responsibilities are to give direction to the passenger- by as well as traffics or vehicles on the road. He has to

 particular uninformed.

c. What uniform does he wear?

He wears a Khaki trouser, a blue shirt and a white helmet on head. He also has a white umbrella to protect

himself  from the burning sun and shower.

d. How does he control movement of vehicles?

He controls this to help proper movement of vehicles to stop traffic jam. He uses some sings to do this. When he raises his hand, vehicles stop at the place. Again as he lowers down his hand, they begin to move. Sometimes, a traffic police also check road lynches of the drivers vehicles.

e. What role does he play?

He plays an important role to ensure a jam –free by which we can move freely. It is a matter of sorrow that though a traffic police works hard, he gets proper salaries. People generally do not show respect to him. He leads a measurable life. Moreover, we should not disdain him.
